Bhubaneswar: The new registrations for H-1B visas began on Tuesday, March 9, a week after the Joe Biden administration revoked former President Donald Trump’s policy that blocked many Green Card applicants from entering the US.
H-1B visa permits an individual to temporarily work in the United States for a period of 3 years, which is extendable up to 6 years, in an area of expertise.

Applicants engaged in specialty occupations that need theoretical and technical expertise can apply for H-1B visas. This is most popular among Indian IT professionals.

Only those with selected registrations will be eligible to file H-1B cap-subject petitions.
