Harbhajan Singh Turns 40; Yuvraj Singh Makes A Hilarious Comment
New Delhi: Harbhajan Singh turned 40 on Friday. Cricket fraternity took to social media to wish the turbanator on this special occasion.
Having claimed 417 Test and 269 ODI wickets, the veteran is considered among the greatest off-spinners the country has produced.
Harbhajan, lovingly known as Bhajji by his teammates, has two World Cups in his kitty. After featuring in the World T20 triumph in South Africa in 2007, the offie was also a regular face in the national squad when India won their second 50-over World Cup in India in 2011.
Current India skipper Virat Kohli wished Harbhajan on Twitter “Wishing you a very happy birthday Bhajju Pa @harbhajan_singh. May god bless you with good health and happiness. Have a great year ahead.”
Yuvraj Singh shared a video clip reminiscing the past, both on and off the field. “Is it your happy 40 or 47. Here’s a glimpse of the wonderful years spent together pulling each other’s leg, sometimes pants too. U have always proved to the world Singh u will always be king. After quarantine party to leni hai 100 percent. Love u paaji @harbhajan_singh,” his tweet read.
Ex-India batsman VVS Laxman too wished him. “Wishing @harbhajan_singh a very very happy birthday. May you experience joy and continue to share it with people around you. Have a great day and fabulous year ahead.”
Current India opener Shikhar Dhawan wished Harbjahan in the Delhi southpaw’s customary style. “@harbhajan_singh pahji janamdin diyan lakh lakh vadhayiaan. Let’s grab a bat and ball and celebrate together once this is all over.”
