Bhubaneswar: The heatwave is likely to scorch Odisha again with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicting a further rise in the day temperature by 2-3°C during the next 2 days.

“Consequently, the day temperature is likely to be 40°C or above at a few places over a few districts during the next 4-5 days,” SRC, Odisha, tweeted on Monday. Hot & discomfort weather is likely during this period, it added.
