This apart, yellow warning was issued for Koraput and Puri districts where hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail.

By 8.30 in the morning, Talcher recorded the highest temperature of 36.8 degree Celsius, followed by Baripada at 36 degree Celsius, Keonjhar, Rourkela and Balangir at 34.8 degree Celsius and Bhawanipatna & Boudh at 34 degree Celsius.
