The IMD said there will be no large change in maximum temperature (day temperature) during next 5 days and thereafter the mercury may fall by 2-3°C over the districts of Odisha.

As the state continues to grapple with severe summer conditions, several western and interior districts remain under the grip of an intense heat wave, with temperatures likely to soar further in the coming days.

Authorities have advised people to avoid venturing outdoors during peak afternoon hours, stay hydrated and take necessary precautions as the scorching weather persists across the state.
