Heavy To Very Heavy Rain To Lash Odisha Till July 28; Yellow Alert By IMD Continues
Bhubaneswar: Heavy to very heavy rain is likely to hatter many parts of Odisha for five days, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Wednesday.
In its midday bulletin, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said that light to moderate rain/thundershower may occur at most places of Odisha over the next one week. Rainfall of varied intensity is likely to lash different parts of the state during the period.
The weather agency issued yellow warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall (7 to 20 cm) in at least 18 districts during the next 24 hours. While heavy to very heavy rain may occur one or two places of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, and Nuapada, heavy rain (7 to 11cm) may occur at some places of Angul, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Boudh, Sonepur, Dhenkanal, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Cuttack, Nayagarh, Deogarh, and Jharsuguda districts.

Yellow Warning: Heavy to very heavy rain (7 to 20 cm) is likely to occur at some places of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada and heavy rain (7 to 11cm) at one or two places of Ganjam, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khurda, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Balangir, Nuapada, Boudh, and Sonepur districts.

Yellow Warning: Heavy rain (7 to 11cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, and Sundargarh.

Yellow Warning: Heavy rain (7 to 11cm) is likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur, and Cuttack.
