Gurugram: Now, a music video featuring Radhika Yadav, the former Tennis player, Radhika Yadav, has surfaced on social media. According to reports, her father Deepak Yadav, accused of shooting her dead in their Gurugram flat, was reportedly upset over her participation in the music video. The accused father had also issues with Radhika running her own tennis academy after quitting the game following an injury, reports claimed. Yadav was reportedly upset over remarks from villagers that he was living out of his daughter’s earnings. The music video titled ‘Karwaan’ was produced by Zeeshan Ahmad, featuring Radhika and the composer, Inaam, reports claimed.

The tragic incident took place on Wednesday morning at their residence in Sushant Lok, Gurugram. According to sources, Deepak Yadav had expressed his displeasure over Radhika’s recent appearance in a music video, which she had promoted on her Instagram account.
Sources added that Deepak had repeatedly asked his daughter to delete the video, but she refused. The disagreement is believed to have escalated into a fatal confrontation.
Police sources have said that Deepak Yadav fired five rounds from his licensed revolver, three of which struck Radhika. The 25-year-old athlete was rushed to the hospital but was declared brought dead.
While the investigation is ongoing, police are examining whether the video and her social media activity could have been the motive behind the crime. However, no conclusive statement has been made yet.
Radhika, who once represented India in international tennis tournaments and had a promising career, had been running a tennis academy in Gurugram. Her sudden and tragic death has left the local sports community in deep mourning.
Deepak Yadav has been arrested and is currently in police custody. Authorities are continuing to question family members and are reviewing surveillance footage as part of their investigation.
