Bhubaneswar: Apart from the high-voltage matches at Kalinga Stadium, people visiting the city during FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup will also get to pick handloom products and handicrafts of Odisha at the flea market/night bazaar at Ekamra Haat from January 15 to 29.

The market, which is a part of the second edition of the FEST, will remain open for visitors between 5 pm and 12 am.

According to sources, 120 home-grown products, including wooden articles, jewellery, creative/fancy items, scarves/stoles for women and other products, will be on display at 35 stalls with 33 belonging to Utkalika. It will also provide a stage for regional artists, start-ups, performers, makers and creators.

The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has also planned folk music recitals and rock band performances to enthral visitors.

A Ukraine national, Yuri, also known as IHTI Anderson in the artistic world, and his friend from Germany Clemens Schmidt have designed three multi-dimensional canopies, using elastic fabric, fluorescent colours and airbrushes, and a stage in Ekamra Haat for the night bazaar. A black box has also been set up adjacent to the flea market to showcase 16 digital artworks of Yuri.
