Bhubaneswar: Here’s good news for those disappointed having failed to book a ticket for the inaugural ceremony of Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup at Kalinga Stadium here on November 27.
Taking to Twitter last night, Oscar-winning music maestro A R Rahman announced ‘Hook Step Challenge’ of the World Cup anthem for the fans and sports enthusiasts.
He also posted the same on his Facebook account and wrote, “Get swanky, wear a smile, turn on your camera, face the light & post your entry on my Facebook. The best ones join us at the #HWCOpeningCeremony on 27th Nov!”
And who knows, you might just get lucky!
In the video, Rahman and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan are seen doing a simple step. They hit the hockey stick on the ground twice and then thump the heart with a clenched fist, which depicts the phrase ‘My Heart Beats For Hockey’.
Rahman has composed the anthem or official song, ‘Jai Hind, Jai India’, for Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 and it has been penned by none other than celebrated writer-lyricist Gulzar. The music maestro has directed the music video, which also features Nayanthara, Sivamani, Neeti Mohan, Shweta Mohan, Sasha Tirupathi, Shweta Pandit, Harshdeep and prominent hockey players of India.
The 46-second teaser of the official song was released on Sunday.
