New Delhi: Honda on Thursday unveiled the upcoming crossover HR-V. Known as Vezel in some markets, the HR-V is expected to be launched in India as well.
The new HR-V will sit above the WRV and below the CRV, and will face competition from the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta and the likes.
The new HR-V will have a coupe-like roofline and U-shaped brake lights with an LED bar. The interiors get an in-trend floating touchscreen head unit with a conventional twin-pod cluster. Features like automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, hands-free tailgate and heated seats will be available.
Honda has upped the safety features with new Honda Sensing safety tech that includes collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection and avoidance, collision mitigation braking, lane hold assist and traffic sign recognition.
Honda is also betting big on hybrid powertrains with a dual-motor petrol-electric setup.
