Lucknow: A house collapsed in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur district on Monday after a gas cylinder exploded.
According to locals, at least half a dozen people are believed to be trapped inside the house, in Malwa area.

The gas cylinder reportedly exploded when a family member was cooking. Neighbours and locals were the first to respond on hearing the thunderous blast. They tried to help those trapped under the debris.
Malwa police rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation along with other agencies.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to expedite relief work.
