Cuttack: Ollywood actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty on Monday appealed to reporters, who had gathered in front of his house here, to spare his family from the media glare and let the matter of his marital dispute with Varsha Priyadarshini be settled in court.
“Please don’t do dirty politics in front of my house. My father is unwell and undergoing dialysis. Which media organisation should I hold responsible if something happens to him amid this fight for TRP?” questioned Anubhav.
The Kendrapada MP was irked with the presence of reporters while escorting his father back from the hospital in the afternoon.
He further said that his family has been suffering for the last few years because of one mistake of his.
“I want to ask one simple question through you to the honourable madam, how is she still staying in my house if my family members are really harassing her. I would request her family to take her home,” he said.
Anubhav said every relationship go through ups and downs. “Mine is not the only or first tumultuous marriage nor is it going to be the last one. The matter is subjudice and I request you to allow us space and our privacy,” he added.
