Mumbai: Anurag Kashyap is absolutely livid. So much so that he wants to file an FIR against a ‘scamster’.
The reputed filmmaker on Sunday took to social media to bring to everyone’s notice about a fake casting call for another season of the web series ‘Sacred Games’. Clarifying that no such show is in the works, he wrote that he will be filing an FIR against the person operating the account.
“This man rajbeer_casting is a scamster. Pls, report him. There is no season 3 of Scared Games happening. I am filing an FIR against this person,” Anurag wrote.

The account from which the casting announcement was made was apparently deactivated shortly after Anurag’s post.
The eight-episode first season of Sacred Games – a crime thriller — was released on Netflix in July 2018, while the second season dropped in August 2019.
Directed by Anurag, Vikramaditya Motwane and Neeraj Ghaywan, Sacred Games featured Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Girish Kulkarni, Neeraj Kabi, Pankaj Tripathi, Kubbra Sait, Surveen Chawla, Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey among others.
Anurag, who has directed films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Ugly, Bombay Velvet and Manmarziyaan, recently announced a new project featuring Kriti Sanon and producer-actor Nikhil Dwivedi.
