Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday carried out raids on properties linked to Junior Manager (Civil), BCD-II, Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (Idco), Bhubaneswar, Bijay Kumar Udaysingh, on allegation of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to Vigilance sources, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by a team led by 8 DSPs, 8 inspectors and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge,Vigilance, Bhubaneswar, at 6 places in Bhubaneswar (Khurda) and Puri.
Raids are underway at these following places:
1. Residential house at Arya Vihar, under Rajarani Mouza, Bhubaneswar.
2. A flat at Balukhanda Mouza, Puri district.
3. Parental house at Mundamba village, Jankia, Khurda district.
4. His office at Idco, Bhubaneswar.
5. A crusher at his native village Mundamba, Jankia, Khurda.
6. House of his relative at Samantarapur, Bhubaneswar.
