IMD Forecasts Warmer Night In Odisha From Tomorrow
Bhubaneswar: The cold wave condition prevailing in several parts of Odisha is likely to abate in next 4 to 5 days.
The regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its evening bulletin on Sunday, said several places of the state is likely to witness warmer night as minimum temperature will go up from tomorrow.
“Minimum temperature (night temperature) is very likely to rise gradually rise by 2 degree Celsius to 4 degree Celsius during next 4 to 5 days in Odisha,” the IMD forecast.
The Met office said dry weather is most likely to prevail across the state in next 24 hours. Bhubaneswar and its neighbouring areas will have maximum temperature of 34 degree Celsius and minimum 15 degree Celsius.
The last 24 hours saw 10 places in the state recording night temperature of 10 degree Celsius and below as isolated cold wave prevailed over Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Kandhamal.
G Udayagiri recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 3.5 degree Celsius for the second consecutive day on Sunday, while the mercury had plummeted to 3 degree Celsius in the hill station in Kandhamal district on Friday.
