Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued a heavy rainfall warning in Odisha for the coming four days.

“A cyclonic circulation formed over the north Bay of Bengal and its adjoining areas on Thursday has turned into a low-pressure area on Friday. Besides, another cyclonic circulation over the west-central Bay of Bengal off the Andhra Pradesh coast now lies over the west-central Bay of Bengal off the north Andhra Pradesh and south Odisha coasts and extends between 3.1 and 7.6km above mean sea level, tilting towards the south-west direction,” said a morning bulletin of the IMD.
