Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued orange and yellow warnings for 14 districts of Odisha till 4.20 pm on Sunday.
Moderate rain or thundershower accompanied by lightning may affect some parts of Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar districts in 3 hours. Light to moderate rain or thundershower accompanied by lightning may also occur at one or places in Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Bargarh, Nuapada and Balangir.
People have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and move to safer places to protect themselves from lightning strikes.
