Bhubaneswar: Rain coupled with thunderstorm and lightning is likely to hit at least eight districts of Odisha on Wednesday night, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 9.55 pm, the IMD sounded an orange warning for Balangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Khurdha, Nuapada, Puri, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh districts.
Moderate rain, thunderstorm, and lightning with wind speed 30-40 kmph may occur at few places over these districts in next three hours, it said.
