Bhubaneswar: Thundershower coupled with lightning and high-velocity wind is likely to lash at least seven districts of Odisha on Thursday afternoon, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in a nowcast warning.
In a message issued at 11.30 am, the weather agency sounded warning for Balangir, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Jajapur, Kandhamal, and Nayagarh districts.
Thundershower with wind speed reaching 30 kmph and lightning may occur at a few places of these districts in next three hours, it said.
