New Delhi: India saw a record spike in COVID-19 deaths and cases in the last 24 hours. While 331 more patients died of the infection, 9,987 fresh cases were reported, taking the affected tally to 2,66,598.
The virus has so far claimed 7,466 lives in India, which the fifth worst-affected country in the world.
The number of patients who have been cured/discharged/migrated is 1,29,215, according to data available on the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare website.
