New Delhi: With 941 fresh COVID-19 cases being reported in the past 24 hours, India’s tally on Thursday touched 12380.
The death toll in the country rose to 414 as the virus claimed 37 more lives during this period, according to the Union Healthy Ministry.
So far, 1488 patients have been fully cured or discharged.
Maharashtra continued to be the worst-hit state with 2916 positive cases followed by (1578), Tamil Nadu (1242), Rajasthan (1023), Madhya Pradesh (987) and Gujarat (766).
A total of 2,74,599 samples have been tested for coronavirus detection, the Indian Council of Medical Research had said on Wednesday.
