Mumbai: Days after the Indian government disabled Instagram accounts of several Pakistani artistes in the country, Indian fans of Hania Aamir started using VPNs to reach out to the actress.
Hania was overwhelmed as her Indian fans informed her about their VPN subscription.

One fan commented, “Hello Hania, VPN ka subscription liya hai sirf aapke liye (I have subscribed to VPN just for you). Love from India.”
Hania replied, “Love you.”
When another fan told Hania not to worry as her Indian fans are using VPN, Hania replied, “Ro doongi (I will cry).”
Hania apart, the accounts of Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, singer Atif Aslam and others were blocked in India post the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which left 26 innocent civilians dead.
