Indian Navy Seizes Narcotics Worth Rs 3,000 Crore From Fishing Vessel

The Indian Navy seized narcotic substances worth around Rs 3,000 crore from a fishing vessel on the Arabian Sea on Monday.

During surveillance, INS Suvarna came across a fishing vessel with suspicious movements, the Navy said in a statement. The team, on conducting a search operation, retrieved more than 300 kg of narcotic substances.

The boat and its crew were escorted to Kochi for further investigation.

According to sources, the fishing boat is not from India.
