Bhubaneswar: IndiGo has announced its daily direct flight services from Odisha’s Jharsuguda to New Delhi from May 15.

“We are pleased to announce direct connectivity between Jharsuguda and Delhi. As an emerging industrial hub in Odisha, Jharsuguda holds immense potential for business and trade, and these new flights will unlock newer opportunities in the region,” said Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo.

Besides, promoting interstate connectivity and regional accessibility, the flights will serve as a gateway to a plethora of domestic and international destinations through the airline’s vast network, he added.

Fight number 6E 2274 of Indigo will take off from Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda at 5.40 pm and land at Delhi airport at 7.40 pm everyday.

In the return direction, flight number 6E 0458 of the airline will take off from Delhi airport at 3.20 pm and land at Jharsuguda at 5.10 pm everyday. Both flights will start operation from May 15, the release stated.
