IndiGo Flight Misses Taxiway After Landing At Delhi’s IGI Airport, Operations Hit
New Delhi: An IndiGo plane from Amritsar missed the taxiway upon landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) in New Delhi on Sunday morning, according to the PTI.
This resulted in the runway being blocked for approximately 15 minutes.
The A320 aircraft proceeded to the dead end of runway 28/10, impacting certain flight operations, the report added.
The aircraft was later towed from the runway to a parking bay by an IndiGo towing van. IndiGo’s comments on the incident are still expected. IGIA, India’s largest airport which handles around 1,400 flights daily, has four operational runways.
