‘Innocent Until Proven Guilty’: Celebs Come Out In Support Of Rhea Chakraborty
Mumbai: ‘Jalebi’ actress Rhea Chakraborty has been under the media lens ever since the tragic demise of her boyfriend, Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput.
Even as the CBI probe in Sushant’s death case is underway, news channels are continuously trying to unearth evidence in the case to prove Rhea guilty.
As such, the actress and her family are reportedly going through a tough time.
During this crisis, Rhea’s friends and well-wishers from the industry have stepped forward to extend their support for the actress.
Here’s a list of celebrities who are seeking #JusticeForRhea:
1. Shibani Dandekar: Actor-host Shibani Dandekar, who is a friend of Rhea, took to her Instagram handle on Wednesday to share that the actress and her family has been pushed to a “breaking point” of late.
“I’m sorry that the best thing you ever did in your life (looking after Sushant) led you to the worst experience of your life… I’m so sorry… I’m with you always. #JusticeForRhea,” posted Shibani.
Shibani’s Insta post received positive comments from Vishal Dadlani, Lauren Gottlieb, Sussanne Khan, Maanvi Gagroo, Amrita Arora, Rasika Dugal among others.
2. Lakshmi Manchu: Supporting Rhea, she stated that media is portraying a girl like a monster. Until the truth is out, one cannot blame anyone for any crime.
3.. Vidya Balan: Recently, Vidya also come out in support of Rhea and wrote on her social media handle that the actress is innocent until she is proven guilty in the court.

4. Taapsee Pannu: Supporting Rhea, Taapsee expressed that one should trust the law and not overtake the judiciary by holding Rhea responsible for Sushant’s death.
“I didn’t know Sushant on a personal level nor do I know Rhea but what I know is, it only takes to be a human to understand how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty. Trust the law of the land for your sanity and the deceased’s sanctity,” she tweeted.

5. Film producer Nidhi Parmar Hiranandani also shared a long note stating that one cannot bury the truth.

6. Producer Pritish Nandy took to his Instagram handle and wrote that he is impressed to see Rhea fighting for justice despite all the hatred against her. “I don’t know Rhea Chakraborty but am impressed by how she is holding up against the brute might of all those eager to blame her for Sushant Singh Rajput’s death,” he wrote.
7. Swara Bhasker: Actress Swara Bhasker has also shown her support for Rhea via her posts on social media platforms. Swara slammed news channels for conducting media trial in the case and declaring Rhea guilty.
The Sushant Singh Rajput death case is currently being investigated by CBI, ED and NCB teams, Rhea and Showik’s WhatsApp chat details show that they have been involved in an alleged drug cartel. The NCB has also arrested some drug peddlers in connection with the case, who have admitted having links with Showik.
