Not just that, left-hand batter Suryavanshi became a crorepati at just 13 years of age!

It was Rajasthan Royals who won a bidding war with Delhi Capitals to sign the wonderboy from Bihar’s Samastipur for Rs 1.1 crore.

The big bucks on Day 2 were pocketed by veteran medium-pacer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar. Out of the India team for over a year, Bhuvi was acquired by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) for Rs 10.75 crore.

Deepak Chahar, another seamer who has struggled with injury issues, was picked up by Mumbai Indians for a price tag of Rs 9.25 crore.

Akash Deep, who made a good impression in his first few Tests for India, will play for Lucknow Super Giants who shelled out Rs 8 crore for the Bengal pacer.

Delhi Capitals retained Mukesh Kumar, another Bengal medium-pacer, for a purse of Rs 8 crore.

RCB got on board Krunal Pandya for Rs 5.75 crore.

Among foreign players, tall South African pacer Marco Jansen was bought by Punjab Kings at a price of Rs 7 crore.
