Mumbai: Bachelor Salman Khan’s recent birthday post for his brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri, has sparked speculation about his marriage plans and left fans anxious.
On Wednesday, Salman took to his Instagram handle and dropped a picture of Atul, along with a note which read as, “Happy birthday Atul my bil means brother-in-law. Thank u for taking care of my sister I love u man. Best husband n father now can u plz be u the man I knew, 1 day I vil be the Man U r. Wake up brother.”
What sparked speculation about the actor’s marriage plans is the line, “1 day I vil (will) be the Man U r”.
“So, one day Salman will also be married,” one user commented.
“Matlab bhai shadi karna chahte hai,” added another.

Earlier, opening up about his marriage plans on Rajat Sharma’s ‘Aap Ki Adalat’, the actor had said, “Jab Uper Walah chahega, Sir (When God Almighty wills so). Two individuals are needed for marriage. In the first case, the marriage did not happen. When I said yes, somebody said, no. When somebody said yes, I said no. Now there is ‘no’ from both sides. When both sides say ‘yes’, the marriage will take place. There’s still time. I am 57. I want this time it should be the first and last. Matlab ek biwi honi chahiye (There should be a wife).”
In the past, Salman was linked up with several actresses including Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, Lulia Vantur and Zarina Khan among others.
On the work front, Salman will soon be seen in the ‘Battle of Galwan’, a film based on the real-life clash between the Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley in June 2020.
