It’s Movie Time In March; Watch ‘Jhund’ And Many More

New Delhi: After a brief lull in the beginning of this year, movie buffs can binge to their heart’s content in March.

Here’s what is in store:

 Jhund

Big B essays a role based on Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barse in the sports drama and how he encourages street children to build a football team to to help them find a purpose in life.

It was scheduled to be released on the OTT platform. Earlier, the makers had scheduled to release in May but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it did not hit the screens.

Now, it will finally hit theatres on March, 2022

Radhe Shyam

This movie portrays a beautiful love story of a palmist Vikramaditya in the backdrop of 1960-70s Europe. Originally planned for a release on July 30, 2021, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was later scheduled to release on January 14 this year, coinciding with the festival of Sankranthi but was postponed indefinitely due to the surge in Omicron variant cases.

It is finally being released on March 11.

Bachchhan Paandey

The movie is the remake of the 2014 film ‘Veeram’ in which a kind-hearted villager takes down the enemies of his fiancee’s father, to safeguard their family.

It’s release coincides with that of Radhe Shyam on March 11.

RRR

The movie is a tale of two legendary revolutionaries and their journey far away from home. After their journey they return home to start fighting back against British colonialists in the 1920s. Made on a budget of Rs  400 crore RRR was initially scheduled for theatrical release on July 30, 2020, but was deferred multiple times due to production delays and COVID-19.

It is finally releasing on March 25

The Kashmir Files

The film tells the story of exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the early 1990’s due to Kashmir Insurgency.

Releasing on March 11, the star cast includes Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi and Chinmay Mandlekar
