Jacqueline Fernandez Stopped At Mumbai Airport, Denied Permission To Fly Abroad

Mumbai: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez was stopped from leaving the country at the Mumbai airport on Sunday in connection with a money-laundering case being probed against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekar.

The Sri Lanka-born actress, who has acted in several Bollywood films, was denied permission to fly by immigration authorities. The officials acted on a lookout circular issued by the Enforcement Directorate, reported The Times of India.

Jacqueline, who had just returned from the shooting of her upcoming film ‘Ram Setu’ in Diu, was learnt to be travelling to Dubai. She is due to participate in Salman Khan’s Da-bangg tour, to be held on December 10 in Riyadh.

The actress, who has been questioned in the Sukesh case more than once by ED officials, has maintained that she is a victim of the conman.

Sukesh, who was taken into custody by Delhi Police on charges of cheating some people, was recently arrested by the ED.
