Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday said 30 lakh youths would be provided employment opportunities by 2025.
Inaugurating a two-day executive meeting of Biju Yuva Janata Dal (BYJD) here, the chief minister advised the activists and workers, especially those of the youth wing, to use social media to reach out to the masses and address their issues.
“To strengthen BYJD in Odisha, district-level committees will be constituted in the next 15 days. Similarly, constituency and block-level committees will be formed in 30 days and panchayat-level committees within 45 days,” he said.
Health minister Pratap Jena said the party has 40-50 lakh youth as its members. “A database should be developed to maintain a detailed record of the youth members,” he added.
