Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Monday conducted raids on properties linked to a junior account in the office of DM of Odisha State Civil Supply Corporation Ltd in Sundargarh, Rabindra Kumar Barik, over allegations of possessing ass
ets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
According to a Vigilance release, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by teams led by 3 DSPs, 6 inspectors, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore, at 5 places in Balasore and Sundargarh districts.
Raids are currently underway at these following places:
(1) Residential triple-storey building at Gopalgaon in Balasore
(2) Triple-storey market complex & gym at Gopalgaon, Balasore.
(3) Kalyan Mandap at Balasore.
(4) His office at Sundargarh.
(5) Rented residential house at Sundargarh.
