Barbil: JSW Steel, Odisha Mining Division, has been conferred with the Best Exhibition Display Award at the 35th Annual Flower and Vegetable Show held at Noamundi.
The award recognises the company’s innovative concept and visually captivating floral presentation.
The two‑day exhibition showcased more than ten varieties of winter seasonal flowers, including Marigold, French Marigold, Pansy, Chrysanthemum, Petunia, Sylvia, and Dahlia. These flowers were artistically arranged to form a Swastik symbol, which drew widespread appreciation and attention from visitors.
Deeply rooted in Indian culture, the Swastik symbolises prosperity, well‑being, positivity, and harmony. The thoughtfully curated display reflected a fine balance of cultural sensitivity and creative expression, seamlessly blending tradition with natural aesthetics.
In addition to the floral exhibit, JSW Steel Odisha also showcased a variety of medicinal plants suitable for home cultivation, which received appreciable interest and positive feedback from visitors.
The annual Flower and Vegetable Show serves as an important platform to promote horticulture, environmental awareness, and community participation. JSW Steel’s exhibit stood out for its originality, precision, and overall presentation, earning high appreciation from the judging panel.
