Mumbai: Actors Kajol and Jisshu Sengupta recently appeared on the Salman Khan-hosted popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 19’ to promote the second season of their web series ‘The Trial’.
During a candid conversation with Salman on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Kajol expressed her wish to see the ‘Bigg Boss 19’ contestants.
The host guided the actress to the contestants, who were sitting in the living room area and introduced them one by one to guests.
On seeing the contestants, Jisshu, who seemed to be quite fascinated by Tanya Mittal, remarked, “Sir, yeh Tanya Mittal badi kamaal ki hai (Tanya Mittal is amazing). 150 bodyguards, and a huge collection of sarees.”
Kajol quipped, “Iska tailor ka number lena padega (Will have to take her tailor’s number),” leaving the host and her co-star in splits.
Salman added, “Inka khud ka business hai, I think sarees ka. Tel ka bhi business hai (I think she has her own business of sarees and even oil).”
Tanya, while talking about her saree collection, had said earlier in the show, “I am not leaving my luxuries behind, I am taking my jewellery, accessories and more than 800 sarees inside the house. For every day, I have decided on 3 sarees which I will be changing throughout the day.”
This Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman schooled Gaurav Khanna for being inactive in the house and also pulled up Ashnoor Kaur for not saving her friend Abhishek Bajaj during nominations.
Salman and Kajol recreated their most-loved track ‘Odhli Chunariya’ from the movie ‘Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya.’
The duo also performed Ajay Devgn’s signature steps from ‘Singham’ and ‘Pehele Tu Duja Tu’ from ‘Son of Sardaar 2.’

Kajol-headlined ‘The Trial’ season 2 premiered on JioHotstar on September 19.
Jisshu Sengupta apart, the web series also stars Kubbra Sait, Sheeba Chaddha, Alyy Khan and Gaurav Pandey, among others.
Kajol will next be seen hosting a talk show titled ‘Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle’.
The show, scheduled to launch on September 25 on Prime Video, will have Salman Khan and Aamir Khan as the first guests.
