Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut has reportedly experimented with 10 different looks in her upcoming movie, Dhaakad, the shooting for which she wrapped up in August.
The film will showcase the action side of Kangana.
She plays ‘Agent Agni’ in the film, which revolves around human trafficking. To gain access into a gang, Kangana’s character will change from a tawaif to a bar dancer and sometimes appear as an agent, media reports said.
Actor Arjun Rampal will be seen as a negative character. Divya Dutta also essays an important role in the film being pitched as a spy thriller.
Interesting, legendary cinematographer Tetsuo Nagata of Avengers fame and the action designing team of Aquaman and Mission Impossible have worked on the film.
Directed by Razneesh Ghai, Dhaakad is currently in the post-production stage. and is scheduled to release on October 1 this year.
Meanwhile, Kangana is all geared up for the release of her biographical film, Thalaivi, in which she plays late former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa, on September 10.
In July, she had posted pictures of her looks from her upcoming movies ‘Thalaivi’ and ‘Dhaakad’ and wrote: “Journey like no other.”
The actor underwent dramatic body transformation during the filming of the two different films in recent times. She had gained almost 20 kgs to get into the skin of her character as Jayalalithaa and later, lost those extra kilos for an action-oriented look in ‘Dhaakad’.
Besides these two films, Kangana has Tejas, Manikarnika Returns, and Emergency in her kitty.
