Karan Johar To Be Summoned By NCB In Drug Case: Manjinder Singh Sirsa

New Delhi: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa took to his Twitter handle to reveal that Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar will soon be summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drug nexus case.

“Sources have told me that Karan Johar is soon going to be summoned by the NCB. He will be questioned about the 2019 drug party,” tweeted Sirsa.

However, NCB officials have not confirmed it yet.

Meanwhile, NCB sources told IANS that Assistant Director Anubhav Chopra, who was earlier associated with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, has been summoned for interrogation.

Earlier in the day, Dharma Productions executive producer Kshitij Ravi Prasad was interrogated by the NCB team.

NCB sleuths also grilled actress Rakul Preet Singh and Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash for several hours on Friday.

Last week, Manjinder Singh Sirsa had filed a complaint with NCB chief Rakesh Asthana over the alleged drug party hosted at Karan’s residence in 2019.

In the video of that alleged drug party, which was circulated on social media, several A-listers including Deepika, Arjun Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Ranbir Kapoor and Malaika Arora were seen.
