Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa was admitted to Manipal Hospital here after he tested for COVID-19 on Sunday evening.
“I have tested positive for coronavirus. Whilst I am fine, I am being hospitalised as a precaution on recommendation of doctors. I request those who have come in contact with me recently to be observant and exercise self-quarantine,” the 77-year-old CM said in a tweet.

Yediyurappa’s daughter, Padmavathi, has also tested positive for the virus, but his son, Vijayendra, has tested negative.
