But thank God for OTT, especially Netflix. So here are some shows that you can binge-watch on Netflix to while away your lockdown blues:

13 Reasons Why:

Number 1 on the list has to be Selena Gomez’s ’13 Reasons Why’. The show revolves around Hannah Baker who dies in season 1 and the suspense revolving around her death. One thing leads to another and thus we get to season 4. The show recently came out with its final season. If you never saw the show, this is the time to binge-watch and get it off the list. The show is about friendship and love and not just death and suspense.

This Spanish thriller just came out with its fourth installment and as usual, did not disappoint anyone. A group of people guided by their leader ‘professor’ sets out on the biggest heist ever in the history of Spain. It is hard not to fall in love with the characters. This is one of the best shows on Netflix and deserves not to be missed.

This 2015 show is the story of Binoini, Ashalata and Mahendra. It is a story about lust, love, betrayal and is completely driven by human emotions. A masterpiece in itself, with the powerful acting by Radhika Apte, the story gets even stronger. If you love classics, this one shouldn’t be missed for sure.

Friends:

Who needs an occasion to watch Friends and did the series ever need an introduction? This is the perfect time to go back in time, relive the good old days when we used to hang out with friends and make memories. Don’t just watch the show, live it and don’t forget to give your friends a call to tell them how much you miss them.

The Crown:

The Crown is a 2016 award-winning drama that is based on an award-winning play, The Audience by Peter Morgan. This drama revolves around the life of Queen Elizabeth II from the 1940s to the present time.

If you have a taste in the royal life, this show is meant just for you. Moreover, it has one of the best ratings on Rotten Tomato and IMDb. Don’t miss out on the life, complications and drama revolving a royal life. Plus, you must also watch for Claire Foy’s great acting.

Gotham:

Gotham is returning with its fifth and final season on Netflix on July 1. If you haven’t seen this forceful superhero action drama, finish binge-watching all its previous seasons right on time. The story revolves around detective James Gordon’s rise to prominence in Gotham City.

Initially meant only to showcase Gotham, the show moved on to Batman and several villains. The drama is action-packed and full of suspense.

Warrior Nun:

Warrior Nun is the latest in the kitty of Netflix. Releasing on July 2, the story is about an orphaned teen who discovers she has superpowers. Not just any power, but the power to hunt demons. Its been long since there has been a great supernatural drama. Let’s hope this one will keep us hooked on.
