Kendrapara: Police have arrested a 22-year-old youth for taking nude photos of a minor girl and blackmailing her.
Police said the accused, Ashutosh Jena, had met the 17-year-old victim when she had come to visit her relative at Kasanianta village near Pattamundai.
The two fell in love and got into a physical relationship. Ashutosh managed to take some nude photos of the girl and started blackmailing her and her family members. He threatened to upload the photos on social media if they didn’t pay him Rs 70,000.
The girl’s family lodged a police complaint and the accused was arrested.
