Toping its previous placement records, at least 90 per cent of the students have already got jobs, recording a surge in the average package as compared to previous years.

“Remarkably, 27 per cent students bagged ‘Day Zero’ dream offers from big multinational companies with an average CTC of Rs 10 lakh. ‘Day-One’ campus recruitment drive generated 1714 job offers from four companies: Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro and Cognizant. According to corporate experts, KIIT had an excellent ‘Day One’ & ‘Day Zero’ conversions in the light of a bleak job market scenario,” the release said.

Apart from engineering placements, students of other schools of KIIT – School of Management, School of Biotechnology, School of Law, School of Computer Application and School of Rural Management have also bagged good placement offers, the release added.

Having accredited ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), KIIT offers successful industry engagement programme, which equips the students with cutting edge skills and enhances employability. The institute has many industrial tie-ups to offer a wide range of skill-development programmes to students.
