KISS Provides Food Items & Study Materials At Doorsteps Of Its 30,000 Students
Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Bhubaneswar on Monday despatched study materials and dry food to its 30,000 students’ homes across the State.
Days before the nationwide lockdown was clamped, the institute had sent back the students to their respective villages. As a result, they had not got their textbooks for this academic year.
On the initiative of Dr Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS, flattened rice, sugar, dal, biscuit, soap, textbooks and study materials were arranged to be provided at the doorsteps of the tribal students. The staff and teachers of KISS had been engaged in making the arrangement for 15 days.
