New Delhi: Koraput Collector V Keerthi Vasan, received the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the Civil Services Day event at Vigyan Bhawan here on Monday.
This recognition comes under the category of ‘Holistic Development of Districts,’ highlighting the district’s remarkable strides in governance and development, an official release said.
On April 18, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi had congratulated the Koraput Collector and his team for the achievement. “Congratulations to @dmkoraput and their team on being selected for the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024. Their exemplary work in holistic district development is truly commendable. May they continue to achieve bigger milestones and inspire others,” he wrote.
Deputy CM K V Singhdeo also posted a congratulatory message for the team. “This recognition is a testament to their unwavering commitment to inclusive growth, effective governance, and transformative public service. Odisha takes pride in your achievement,” he wrote.
