Koraput’s Maiden Corona Case Had Returned To Odisha From Kolkata On April 14
Bhubaneswar: A healthcare worker in Koraput is among two persons, who tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha on Monday.
The I & PR Department in a tweet identified them as a 22-year-old male health worker of Dasmantpur in Koraput and a 32-year-old man of Balasore.
Both have travel history to West Bengal.
The department said that the 22-year-old had come from Kolkata on April 14 to join nursing duty. “He was quarantined and tested due to travel history though asymptomatic. He had not joined work,” it added.

With these new cases, the affected tally in Odisha has touched 110. With 37 having been cured and one death, the state now has 72 active cases.
