Mumbai: Rumoured lovebirds Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben are set to walk down the aisle in January, suggest reports.
The festivities will take place from January 9 to 11, with the couple exchanging wedding vows on January 11 in Udaipur, Hindustan Times reported.
“The dates being reported earlier were not accurate. The families have finalised January 11 as the wedding day, with celebrations spread across three days,” a source was quoted as saying by HT.
The lavish wedding will be a private event with only close friends and family members on the guest list. Security arrangements will be very tight.
“Nupur and Stebin wanted to keep the wedding personal. It’s more about family and longtime friends than a large industry gathering,” the source said.
Post the wedding, the couple is planning to host a grand reception in Mumbai on January 13.
“The Mumbai reception is when colleagues and friends from the industry will join in to celebrate the couple at their reception,” the source informed.
When rumours about Nupur and Stebin were doing the rounds, the singer denied being in a relationship and said he was single.
“As an artist, it’s very difficult for me right now to take out time for a relationship. When you’re on the road for 25 days out of 30 in a month, you don’t have time to focus on anything else,” Stebin had said.
Speaking about Nupur, he added: “Nupur and I have an amazing equation. We’re very close. I’ve spent a lot of time with her, and I don’t think I’ve that kind of bond with anyone else. Who knows what will happen in the future? I’m talking about the present, and right now, I’m not getting any time for a relationship.”
Nupur, actress Kriti Sanon’s sister, rose to fame after appearing in the music video ‘Filhall’ (2019), opposite Akshay Kumar. She also featured in its sequel, ‘Filhall 2: Mohabbat’ (2021).
Nupur made her acting debut in 2023 with the Disney+ Hotstar comedy-drama series ‘Pop Kaun?’ alongside Kunal Kemmu.
