Bhubaneswar: A labourer was killed in a landslide at Lingipur, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, on Monday.
According to reports, a contractor had engaged some labourers in the construction work of a building near Lingipur this morning. While the labourers were removing the sand for construction of the basement of the building, landslide occured and a labourer was killed.

Dhauli police later recovered the body of the labourer, whose identity was not immediately knownd, and detained brother of the contractor for interrogation.
