Labourers Stranded In Secunderabad Appeal To Odisha Govt For Help
Bhubaneswar: A group of labourers from Jajpur district stranded in Secunderabad have appealed to the Odisha government to ensure their safe return to the state.
Narrating their ordeal in a video posted on social media, the labourers said that they had gone to Secunderabad to work in a construction company as migrant labourers. Following the nationwide lockdown, they are left with work as the company has closed its office. They are also not able to return to Odisha as bus and train services have been cancelled.
Stating that they have remained without food for three days, the hapless labourers have requested the state government to make necessary arrangement for their early return.
