Chennai: Nayanthara, the Lady Superstar of Tamil and Telugu cinema, will be tying the knot with her long-time filmmaker boyfriend Vignesh Shivan.
This announcement has put an end to rumours on their relationship.
The couple will marry at on June 9 at Mahabalipuram. According to reports, they have also invited TN Chief Minist MK Stalin for the big event.
Vignesh announced his wedding to Nayanthara on June 7 and stated that they will make their first wedding appearance as husband and wife on June 11, the Bollywood Life quoted the filmmaker.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan got engaged in a private ceremony in March 2021.
Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan met each other for the first time during the narration of ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ in 2015. They fell in love with each other during the filming and since then their bond has only grown stronger.
Before Vignesh, Nayanthara had been in news for dating a few men.
Silambarasan aka Simbu: Nayanthara and Simbu were reportedly in a relationship during the actress’ initial days in the industry. A few intimate pictures of them had gone viral on social media, and it was said to be the reason behind their breakup.
Prabhudheva: The two were in a serious relationship for over three years. But, the latter was already married and his wife took the legal route. So, Nayan and Prabhu parted ways.
Udhayanidhi Stalin: There were rumours that Nayanthara was in a relationship with Udhayanidhi Stalin. However, soon the rumours fizzled out and there wasn’t much buzz about it, the BollywoodLife reported.
