Bhubaneswar: Rail operations under the East Coast Railway’s Rayagada Division have experienced disruptions following a landslide between the Maligura and Chhatariput railway stations. To prioritise passenger safety and allow clearing and restoration efforts to proceed safely along the damaged track section, railway authorities have regulated several services through cancellations, short-terminations, and short-originations.
Trains Cancelled
The following trains will remain cancelled on October 1-2:
•Train No. 18107 Rourkela–Jagdalpur Express
On October 2-3
• Train No. 58502 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Passenger
• Train No. 58501 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Passenger
• Train No. 18516 Kirandul–Visakhapatnam Express
• Train No. 18515 Visakhapatnam–Kirandul Express
• Train No. 18108 Jagdalpur–Rourkela Express
Trains Short-Terminated / Short-Originated
Train No. 18005 Howrah–Jagdalpur Express, which commenced its journey from Howrah on September 30 and October 1, will be short-terminated at Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18006 Jagdalpur–Howrah Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on October 2-3, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18447 Bhubaneswar- Jagdalpur–Hirakhand Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Bhubaneswar on October 1-2, will be short-terminated from Koraput. The service between Koraput and Jagdalpur will remain cancelled.
Train No. 18448 Jagdalpur–Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express, scheduled to commence its journey from Jagdalpur on October 2-3, will be short-originated from Koraput. The service between Jagdalpur and Koraput will remain cancelled.
