Mumbai: Amidst the raging debate on nepotism, Dinsey+ Hotstar disabled the like and dislike buttons for the trailer of ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, which was released on Friday.
Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ has no connection with nepotism, but #BoycottLaxmiBomb started trending in social media as Akki had supported Bollywood in the drug issue.
A few days ago, Akshay had shared a video in which he admitted that drug problem does exist in the industry, but everyone is not involved in it.
He requested fans not to target the entire film industry because because of some celebrities doing drugs. This didn’t go down well with a section of social media users, who felt that Akki was supporting the industry.
As ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ trailer released on Friday on the official YouTube channel of Disney+, some netizens wanted to hit the dislike button, but were disappointed on learning that the ‘like’ and ‘dislike’ buttons had been disabled.
One user commented, “The Like and Dislike numbers are hidden. Public be like – Ye Darr Hume Achha Laga.”
