Balasore: Locals thrashed a youth for allegedly passing lewd comments on college going girls and women at Gop village near Jaleswar in Balasore district on Sunday.
The angry locals tied the “roadside Romeo” to a coconut tree and thrashed him.
The youth was identified as Sahil Khan (23) of Panchughanta village in the same district.
Police later rescued Sahil from the mob and launched an investigation.
